This Week's Polish..

This week, in honor of Turkey Day (Thanksgiving for you common folk) I'm wearing Oktoberfest by Brucci.

Yes, I know.... It's November, but I'm wearing something named after October. Hush.

I think its a very festive fall shade of orange that makes me think of fallen leaves and sweet potatoes. LOL

What's on your face?

As the frosty winter days are rapidly approaching, I want to share a couple skin care secrets(not anymore) with you guys that I follow myself in order to not look like broken concrete by the Spring.

I work at a dermatologist's office so I'm at a slight advantage as far as skin care products go.

To be honest with you, I am the worst when it comes to regimens. LOL

But as far as my skin goes, I try to stay on top of it.

First off, for my day-to-day cleansing I use CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser
and CeraVe Moisturizing Lotion. I try to use these every morning before I apply my foundation & at after I shower.

Once a week I a facial scrub to get rid of the layer of junk that may have made a home in my pores during the previous week. I use St. Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Scrub. Then follow that with Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser.

I know. This seems like a lot. LOL

But i don't have any issues as far as blemishes or break outs, so i must be doing something right..

Hope you all have a happy and moisturized winter

What I'm Wearing..

If anyone who reads this blog was to ever see me in the street chances are I'll be seen in one of two things:

Lace Or Opaque Tights.

No seriously, I wear skirts 4 our of 5 work days and I l-o-v-e wearing different types of tights that accentuate my legs as well as show off my personality.

Take looksie at the ones I wore last night.

Please excuse the condition of my car floor. The leaves don't ever want it to be great.

This is a trend that I've always been into and I'm probably going to continue to be into once it goes out of style.

Call me a rebel.

Polish of the Week

Okay, So i basically obsessed with nail polishes. I think I own over 50. Shades from pearl to plum can be found in my polish chest. Call it an obsession.
This week's polish is Rimmel London Lasting Finish Pro in 270 Steel Grey. And to add a little zing, I did my ring fingers in Sinful Colors 322 Let Me Go that gives it a nice iridescent glow.

Welcome.

Welcome one and all to my inaugural post to my life/beauty/fashion blog. I've been thinking about starting one of these for quite some time now. No time like the present, right?

Anyway. This blog is basically going to be my opinions, outlooks and suggestions on multiple topics concerning beauty, fashion and overall, my everyday life.

Just another Brooklyn girl with an open heart. And an open wallet.

I hope you all enjoy.
